Youth Ministry
At Crossway Milwaukee church, our youth group exists to make maturing followers of Jesus by the power of the Gospel. We believe that discipleship happens best in the context of relationships, so we’ve designed a model that pairs youth with young adult leaders in smaller discipleship groups. These groups meet monthly for Bible study and intentional activities, with the aim of genuinely getting to know each student—where they’re at in life, what they’re going through, and how they’re growing in faith.
Our vision at Crossway Milwaukee for youth is progressive, holistic transformation in every relationship: with God (growing in Gospel fluency and biblical understanding), with family (learning to honor and love), within the church (processing doubts, engaging as members, and serving others), and in the world (forming deep friendships, sharing Jesus, and serving in everyday life).
We pursue this growth through shared meals, conversations, serving together, spiritual practices, and time in each other’s homes. Our goal is to build a community where youth feel seen, heard, and challenged to walk with Jesus in all of life.
Children’s Ministry
Crossway Milwaukee church’s children’s ministry exists to come alongside families and assist them in discipling their children. On Sunday mornings, our children — ages 3-years-old up to 5th grade — attend classes where they receive Christ-centered Bible lessons, memorize a monthly Bible verse, participate in weekly catechisms, and learn a “hymn of the month.” Our children’s ministry is currently utilizing Kevin DeYoung’s The Biggest Story Bible Storybook and the New City Catechism.
Small Groups
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”
Every year from September to May, Crossway church in Milwaukee hosts various small groups throughout the city. The goal of these small groups is to provide a close-knit place for us grow, learn, and receive encouragement. These small groups include time for fellowship, prayer, and learning from God’s word together.
We believe that community is necessary for continued growth and maturity in Christ, and welcome you to fill out our connection card if you are looking for a small group to grow in your relationship with the Lord and the church.
Mens & Women’s Ministry
Men’s Ministry
The men at CrossWay periodically get together to spend time with one another and hear from God’s Word. Men’s Ministry exists to foster friendships, and offer a place for accountability and encouragement.
Women’s Ministry
The CrossWay Women’s Ministry regularly hosts events which serve to provide a place for fellowship, friendship, and outreach among women. Our women read scripture together, serve each other, and build friendships with one another.
