Being Good Guests of Alverno
As we try to be good guests in our new space, (1) let’s be sure to clean up well after ourselves and report any messes or damages so we can leave this place better than we found it. (2) In addition, parents, let’s try to keep kids from running around the facilities or entering areas they shouldn’t (e.g., the stage, unsurprised classrooms, elevator, etc.)
New Alverno Invite Cards
Be sure to stop by the Resource Table to grab some of our new invite cards made for our new location here at Alverno. These can be a great way to invite friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to our church. Help us spread the word about our change of location!

Text Group | Starting Sun. Jan 19 | 8:45am | Kids’ classroom
Text Groups are weekly gatherings of individuals seeking to grow in their ability to read scripture. Each week someone prepares a worksheet on a different passage of scripture (typically from the current sermon series); and together we strive to improve in our ability to handle God’s Word. Texts Groups meet at various times throughout the week, with one Text Group occurring Sundays at 8:45am before the service – to be started up again Sun, Jan 19th.
Family Gathering | Sun. Jan 26 | 5:30-7pm | Stibbe’s house
Join us for our next family meeting at the Stibbe's house as we spend some time in prayer and talk about our vision for this next season as a church. A babysitter will be provided for the children (donations will be accepted). And a potluck will be conducted (sign up is available at the resource table).
