2026-2027 Serving Sign-Up Closes Tomorrow
Sign-ups are still open for the new ministry year (Sept ‘26–Aug ‘27)! We’re still looking for volunteers to help with Sunday morning setup, hospitality, children's ministry, music, prayer, and giving rides. If you're a member or call CrossWay home, we encourage you to sign up by tomorrow, Sunday, July 19th, using this form. If you have questions, please connect with one of the deacons.
Elementary Sunday School Class Pausing for the Summer
Elementary-aged kids will stay with their parents in service, and classes will resume in September for the new serving year. Kids, pick up a worksheet from the Resource Table to fill out during the service!
Sunday Text Groups Pausing for the Month of July
Our regular Sunday text groups will be taking a pause this month while we host other classes. Check out our July class offerings listed below under Upcoming Events! The Wednesday text group at 6:00am will continue as scheduled.
Fostering Community Volunteer Opportunity
Fostering Community is holding their Annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 8th. This event is for children in foster care and their families. We are collecting pencils, lunch boxes and dry erase markers if you'd like to donate. If you'd like to write a lunch box note of encouragement to a child, there is an opportunity to do that at the resource table or bring your own note and put it in the donation box near the resource table. Also, if you are interested in volunteering at the event there will be a sign up sheet posted next week. Set up is August 7th from 1-3 pm and the event is August 8th from 8:30 am - Noon. Evangelism Class: Want to grow in sharing your faith but not sure where to start? Join us for a discussion-based class. We’ll talk honestly about the challenges of evangelism, learn from Scripture, and encourage one another in taking practical steps toward gospel conversations. Together, we’ll explore what it looks like to make Jesus known in everyday life.
Getting to Know CrossWay/ Membership Class: Want to learn more about CrossWay and what we believe? At CrossWay, we believe it is the Biblical pattern and privilege for every believer to publicly join themselves to a local church. If you are not yet an official member of CrossWay, we would highly encourage you to attend this class to learn more about our church and what it means to become a member. It’s Summer Park Meet Up season! All are invited - kids are not required to attend. Meetups take place on Wednesdays in July and Thursdays in August. Sign up to host a week here. Weekly updates of park locations will be in the weekly email.
New to CrossWay Lunch | Sunday, July 26th | Philips’ Home | After Service
If you’re newer to CrossWay, we’d love to get to know you! Join us for a casual lunch to connect with one of our elders and some members of our church family. These lunches are hosted on the last Sunday of every month. Please sign up at the Resource Table by tomorrow, Sunday, July 19th if you would like to join this month!
Family Gathering & Graduation Celebration | Sunday, July 26th | 5:00-7:00pm | Finks’ Home
This will be a family meal with an emphasis on honoring our members who have recently graduated. Please bring extra lawn chairs. Sign up to bring food here.

Monthly Children's Material
This year, our children will be working through the New Testament in their The Biggest Story lessons. Additionally, this month the preschoolers are memorizing John 3:16. Families are encouraged to talk about and practice the verse at home. Materials are available at the Resource Table for anyone else in the congregation who wants to memorize along with the children! Current Series | Daniel: God’s Kingdom through Exile
The prophet Daniel and stubborn Israel was exiled to enemy territory. Yet Daniel wrote to declare that God still reigns over all and His kingdom will never be thwarted. God is with His people, and He will bring His kingdom to the nations through their exile. It’s a message Christ-followers need today, living as exiles on our way to a better country, God’s consummated kingdom (1 Pet. 1:1; 2:11; Heb. 11:13-16; 13:14).
