Congrats to Dan!
As Sue mentioned last Sunday, Dan recently published an article in The Gospel Coalition's journal, Themelios! His article gives a clear, practical roadmap for how every passage in the Bible points to Jesus using the C-H-R-I-S-T acronym. It also includes visual diagrams we all know and love from Dan. We encourage you to use it as a resource! Here is the link to the article.
2026-2027 Small Group Sign-Up Closes Tomorrow Night
Small groups are a primary venue of care and prayer in the life of our church. We encourage everyone who calls CrossWay home to participate in one of our small groups. Please sign up for a small group for September ‘26 to May ‘27 by tomorrow night, Sunday August 30th!
Elementary Sunday School Class Resumes on September 6th
This is the last Sunday the elementary-aged kids will stay with their parents in service. Classes will resume next Sunday, September 6th for the new serving year. Have your child pick up a worksheet from the Resource Table to fill out during the service.
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity with Cru
Cru is hosting their annual Brewers Tailgate event for college students on Friday, September 11th. If you are able, please sign up to provide food or event supplies. Items can be dropped off at the Philips’ home or can be picked up by Cru staff. You can sign up here or at the resource table on Sunday mornings. Thank you in advance for supporting and serving this college ministry!

As shared last week, our pastoral candidate, Nick Matula, will be preaching during our Sunday morning service on September 13th. Later that evening, join us at Beloit Baptist from 5:30 to 7:00 PM for a Q&A session and an ice cream social! We would love for you to come, ask questions, and get to know Nick and his family!

Current Series | Daniel: God’s Kingdom through Exile
The prophet Daniel and stubborn Israel was exiled to enemy territory. Yet Daniel wrote to declare that God still reigns over all and His kingdom will never be thwarted. God is with His people, and He will bring His kingdom to the nations through their exile. It’s a message Christ-followers need today, living as exiles on our way to a better country, God’s consummated kingdom (1 Pet. 1:1; 2:11; Heb. 11:13-16; 13:14).
